Join Us

An invitation to attend

We invite you to join us for worship, education and Spiritual Nurture on Sundays.  We hope while  you’re here, you’ll sense the power of God’s Spirit and the presence of Jesus Christ.

It’s a great time to become a part of this vibrant, welcoming, dedicated, community of Christians.Worship is spiritually alive, challenging, and nourishing.  Our education programs provide excellent Bible study, spiritual growth, and theological engagement.  Mission and outreach actively involve our members and bring good works all over the community.  Care-giving and fellowship draw us closer to one another and to God.

For more information about the path to membership, visit Room 200 (the pastor’s study, next to the Sanctuary) on the second Sunday of month following the 10 a.m. service.  Feel free to speak with pastors John Davis or Jean Davidson for more information.

Becoming Presbyterian

New members join a Presbyterian church by one of three ways:

  • Profession of faith in Jesus Christ and baptism – If you have never been a member of a Christian church or made a public profession of your faith, you join the congregation by professing your faith in Jesus Christ.  If you have not been previously baptized, baptism is a part of becoming a member of the church.  Click here for information about our youth confirmation process.
  • Reaffirmation of faith in Jesus Christ – If at one time in your life you were a member of a Christian church and professed your faith, but no longer are a member of a church, then you join the congregation by reaffirming your faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Transfer of your membership from another congregation – If you are currently on the rolls of another Christian church, we will contact that congregation and request a letter transferring your membership to Springdale.

Exploring Membership

No matter how long you’ve been attending Springdale — you are invited to join us as a member. We’re excited about the energy, enthusiasm, and hope  for the future.  We’d love to share that with you.
