Rev. Jean L. Davidson
Jean is Associate Pastor at Springdale Presbyterian. She works with the PYC (youth), Christian Education, and Membership Committees as well as other general pastoral responsibilities. She is a graduate of Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA. She served as Associate at First Presbyterian Church in Talledega, AL, and Bellevue Presbyterian Church in Nashville, TN before coming to Springdale June 1, 2001. Jean grew up in Knoxville, TN. She has been a school teacher (7th grade life science), a paleoecologist, and a presbytery youth ministry director. She likes to read and look at vegetation and water.

Charlie Mitchell

Charlie H. Mitchell holds a B.A, M.M.E., and D.M.A. degrees from Stillman College, University of Louisville, and University of Kentucky, respectively. Dr. Mitchell has an extensive and varied background in church music and music education in general. He taught public school music at all levels for the Jefferson County Public Schools and has served in the capacities as organist and/or choirmaster in Baptist, Methodist, United Church of Christ, Catholic and Presbyterian churches. In an attempt to keep up with current trends in church music. Dr. Mitchell devotes some of his summer schedule to attending church music conferences, such as the ones at Montreat, Westminster College, and American Guild of Organist sponsored events.

June has been serving full-time in the office at Springdale since 1998. Her primary responsibilities are to keep the financial data of the church and desktop publishing, which includes the newsletter and bulletin. She has worked in the ministry since 1989, having previously been employed with the Assemblies of God and United Methodist churches. After hours she enjoys playing volleyball and softball in local church leagues with her three young adult children.
